Poway has two top-notch golf courses: Maderas Golf Club and Stoneridge Country Club. Maderas is a 7115-yard, 18-hole championship course that features Bent greens and Bermuda fairways. Stoneridge's golf course is also an 18-hole championship course, and it is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. Stoneridge features a men's golf club, and the course hosts tournaments every Saturday.
In addition to its golf course, Stoneridge offers tennis courts and tennis lessons, as well as a gorgeous outdoor pool. The club employs top chefs, and the club also offers a day camp for children at Camp Stoneridge. Here, children can play golf and tennis and swim in the main outdoor pool.
